Experimental 101

Over the next few day’s there will be a lot of experimental changes to the blog. New pages, new content styles, links and so on. Don’t be alarmed if the site breaks or goes slow everything will be fixed in due course.

Any feedback is welcomed and I hope you adoring fans can deal with any interruptions.

Quick Hello

Yes guy’s i’m still alive, no need to panic.

It’s been Christmas and revision time so i’ve had to step back from the blog and do family things and revision. Revision is not going well, i’m actually struggling for the first time in my life with revision.

Tomorrow I go to Rugby until the 4th of January to spend some time with my delicious girlfriend. The bus will suck but it will be worth it. So I doubt i’ll be posting much more until the 5th and then back to a few posts a day after my exams finish on the 19th.

Hope you guys have a good new year.

Merry Xmas

A short post to say Merry Christmas to all.

Prob’s be a shortage of posts until after new year, family stuff and all.

Hope you all get what you wanted from Santa.

xx

You think I can get done for copyright with this title? Weird, who know’s im rolling with it.

I’ve recently been testing out Blu-Ray films. Paid for a few HD downloads from iTunes and watched HD Wall-E on a friends PS3 and I have to say, I’m blown away. The iTunes download wasn’t full 1080p but it was clearly better than the standard definition i’m used to.

Sharper, crister, better saturation and contrast’s. That’s 720p, the 1080p was another level, insane quality. Just excellent.

Given blu-ray players are now available under £100, Ps3’s play them and BD-ROM drive’s are falling in price for PC’s, Blu-Ray ccould be coming into force. Anyone needing a new DVD player I’d suggest wait till around Feb then get a Blu-Ray bad boy (or a PS3 if your me, well I would, there double the fun) and start watching Blu-Ray.

On a side note, the larger the TV (and better) the more you’ll be able to notice the difference, I could tell on a 22″ but more so on a 32″. Safe.

Santa Guitar Hero

This game is amazing, it’s a free game and built on flash mimicking Guitar Hero with a Christmas Theme. It’s a little novelty but a non-xmas version of this would be insane.

I really want Guitar Hero, I’d like the full shebang before I’m too old to get away with playing it. No hints, but it’s far to expensive and I don’t have enough friends hehe :)

Anyway, here’s the link

Usain Bolt is Irritating

And here’s why. His body takes me piss out of the majority of people.

Bolt said something along the lines of he eat’s shed loads of Chicken Nuggets (as did Andy Murray I think but he’s all ready a twat), and he’s the fastest man in the worlds, If did it I would be the fattest man in the world.

It doesn’t impress me that much.

BORED

bored :(

Nothing to do, too snowy, working too hard. :(

Band Pimping

Since I’ve been fondling with unsigned act’s I’d though I’d share the myspace joy of a few band and people of interest.

First Redemtion, having performed at the Cockpit and so on this band is on the verge of being large, and there my mates so screw it.

Take a look here http://www.myspace.com/redemtionband

Michael Rice was recently played on Kerrang Radio. That’s always a good sign.

Some more friends, horrific band name but there an different style of music and Your You am I is one of the top played songs on my iTunes.

Here they are: http://www.myspace.com/goldilocksandthethreebairsts

7 Keys were pimped out to me on a trackmania site of all things but I’m enjoying listening to them. Acoustic Pop/Rock is the way forward:

Safe

Audacity

audacity.sourceforge.com

Audacity is a music editing and recording tool. It’s amazing if you love music like I do. I use it for recording unsigned act’s of myspace (naughty I know) and editing horrific live sets.

Florence Wells, she has problems singing live, she’s amazing, but some notes are a bit lol. So i just use it to tweak them a bit.

Worth a download and experiment since it’s free.

Enjoy

Curiosity

When you go to the toilet and your home alone, do you close the door?

The door is designed primarily for privacy, but if no one is about to see you, why does the door need to be closed?

A situation I found my self in earlier and my survey of 3 people seem to agree that this is a weird psychological thing.

Weird x
